Acceptable Use Policy

1. Purpose

This Acceptable Use Policy sets rules for using OMVA and OMVA-powered sites.

2. Prohibited content and claims

You must not publish or distribute content that:

  • is illegal, misleading, deceptive, fraudulent, or harmful
  • provides unauthorised financial or insurance advice
  • recommends a specific insurance product to a specific customer based on personal circumstances
  • claims guaranteed savings, guaranteed income, guaranteed renewals, guaranteed acceptance, guaranteed cover, or guaranteed payouts
  • claims OMVA, your site, or you are licensed, regulated, approved, award-winning, or affiliated with an insurer/regulator unless verified and authorised
  • uses words like "best", "recommended", "risk-free", "guaranteed", "instant cover", "policy starts immediately", or "all insurers" in a misleading way
  • impersonates insurers, brokers, advisers, regulators, OMVA, or other businesses
  • uses logos, trademarks, photos, or content without permission or lawful basis
  • includes fake testimonials, fake reviews, fake traffic, fake lead claims, or fake earnings
  • is abusive, discriminatory, hateful, harassing, adult, exploitative, or unsafe

3. Prohibited conduct

You must not:

  • send spam or unlawful marketing
  • buy or generate fake traffic/leads/customers
  • self-refer to earn commissions
  • manipulate attribution, UTM, referral, or payout tracking
  • scrape, access, export, or attempt to reconstruct customer personal information
  • bypass paywalls, plan limits, feature flags, security controls, or route guards
  • attempt to access admin tools or another user's account/site/data
  • attack, probe, overload, reverse engineer, or interfere with OMVA
  • upload malware, malicious scripts, spyware, phishing content, or harmful files
  • use OMVA for unlawful, regulated, or restricted activities without approval

4. Marketing and advertising

Your ads and public statements must be accurate, substantiated, and compliant with all laws and platform rules. You are responsible for country-specific advertising, privacy, spam, and insurance marketing requirements.

5. Enforcement

OMVA may remove content, disable features, suspend sites, restrict accounts, block payouts, notify partners, or terminate access if this policy is breached.
